Great food and good service at almost a fast food price. Gizzards were amazing.

Service was great but food was cold and nothing is labeled, so with speciality dishes you have no idea what your eating. I use to eat here many years ago and food was excellent. They don't have much of a dessert choice and they also quit carrying soft serve ice cream. If your after home cooking would still recommend but go at a busy time so food is fresher

Dine in was a per pound cost. Same as to go. I don't mind someone else dipping my food. I do mind it not being AYCE. If Ruby Tuesday can do a self serve salad bar; with stipulations, so can other bars.

It was decent for what you pay. The one redeeming quality was the server lady was great.

They have the taste that you will like . I really like that husband and wife teame. I love the atmosphere Down home people some of them I know. When you first walk in his place he give you that smile then give you that zap. The to Of them are as good as the Food they cook. They are good people. Thank you Charlie

This was by far the worst experience at a restaurant.. We stood at the counter where you pay for 10 minutes while the "cashier" just sat there even though he knew we were standing there waiting he still just sat there.... The food was GROSS!! There wasn't even a good selection of food and the croutons were soft and nasty. The dessert bar was store bought cookies still in the pack and swiss rolls. Then you can't even get a to go drink like at all!! I WILL NOT COME HERE EVER AGAIN!!!!

I'm from the south. And all I can say is bless thier hearts. Ya the dessert is store bought cookies and swiss rolls. The salad bar was excellent. But the hot food looked and tasted the same..I'd say if you don't really care about taste and want a big variety. This is your spot.. service was good also..

I went there for the first time with a buddy of mine and I wasn't disappointed. A fair price for as much food as you want (under $10 per person), and their wings were delicious. I'd definitely be willing to go back sometime.

I wouldn't even give them a star!!! My family and I ate there on July 30th 2019. I found a hair in my mashed potatoes & they wouldn't even give me a refund when I gave them the hair. They just stood around looking dumbfounded. That is completely unacceptable in my book. I was literally three bites into my food.

Missy, are you racist? Korean families started buying southern buffets in Georgia about 15-20 years ago. They leave everything the same, keep the old staff and maybe add in a couple ethnic dishes to complement the usual staples. I go to this place every chance I get, which isn't often because I don't live in Monroe, but I do love the food.

Pretty good. The only place to get soul food in monroe.they have beans, cornbread,mac n chs, fried chicken, fried gizzards, fried liver, wings, fries, mashed potatoes, brown gravy, Brunswick stew, salad bar and much more.

They have no concept of how to properly prepare southern style country cooking. The original owners did a great job, but the new owners and cooks are from two other countries. They obviously don't know how. I was not impressed at all.

So we came here for the first time ever today for lunch, I have to say that we really really enjoyed the food! The price was nice and cheap. Our waitress Saprina was great as well. Now excuse me while I fall into a food coma. Yes. It was that good.

Good home cooking buffet style lots of chicken and a little bit of beef with all the trimmings pretty much the same thing every time you go menu doesn't alter too much but on the weekends they have ribs excellent wait staff clean restaurant and handicap accessible

The fried chicken was dry. Fried green tomatoes were soggy. All food needed something to help out the taste.All in all it does fill your belly

It's a country fare, all-you-care-to-eat place. The place seems very popular with the older crowd. They served decent fried chicken, okay country sides and salad. The dessert bar was very silly. Cookies, Swiss Rolls, macaroons and a couple of heavily processed sorta cakes. I wouldn't rush back, but I wouldn't warn others away either.

The people were very pleasant very kind, there was only one server and she couldn't keep up with the tables, so we only got the first cup of sweet tea nothing else. food selection was decent but the hot wings tasted as if they were reheated from the day before, also the table was very sticky, the floor had food every where, lastly there was no dessert just oreo cookies same price as any other buffet which I feel should be lowered

I'm not sure but maybe the cook had the night "off" because the food wasn't as good as it has been in the past. I will give them a 4 star rating in hopes the next time they will have Good, Hot & delicious Home style cooked food as we remember but we will return to try the Buffet again🍴🤷🍛

Charlie's is a fairly small buffet. My choices are very selective here and I really enjoy the salad bar best, especially with biscuts. This is a very casual buffet visit as an alternative away from fast food choices. The front eating areas and food displays are continuously kept clean. Employees work hard and are friendly, attentive, and efficient. The salad bar in itself is well planned, with many extras like baby spinach, great coleslaw, beets, Garbanzos, cranraisins, sesame seeds, beets, 3 bean salad, and delicious salad dressings. There is much more for a great vegan culinary creation. I am a semi regular customer here and a trying vegan, so I think highly for, and mostly recommend the salad bar. It in itself is worth the price. It is recommended.Mark M -

Nice homey place. You ever just want some of your grandma' s food? Sort of South in your mouth.

I have been wanting to try this place for awhile now. When you go in you pay first. The cashier is an older Asian dude. First red flag. What do Asians know about Southern cooking? The waitress is Asian also. The food that was supposed to be hot, was like warm. The salad bar was not cold. The only thing that was really good was the sweet tea. The waitress was on top of our drink refills & very nice. They really need to update their hot bar so that it keeps the food hot. The price was good though. Less than $10 & that includes your drink. But probably won't be back.

It was nasty, Macaroni was dry and looked like they just added more cheese and ribs were tough..I didn't like it..it was my first and last time going.

Mrs.Jenny is so sweet&Food is better than last owner but I sure miss the real Charlie's my mama ran for 20yrs.

Probably the best Buffet price I've seen in years and variety to brag about. Giant salad bar! Great service and staff is oh so pleasant.

Worst place to eat. We got there about 30 minutes before closing and as soon as we fixed our plates, they started taking down the buffet. They charged us full price but we left still hungry.

It's hard to beat some of the best fried chicken I've ever had! And all you can eat for less than $10!!!!The selection is amazing and the staff are extremely helpful and kind. The sweet tea is delicious and they won't let you empty the glass!
